Art Propagating Art

In Celebration of the Creative Spirit (March 24, 2019 to April 24, 2019).

A Tribute and Retrospective Art show of the late Dale Smith, local visual artist.  This collaborative retrospective art show will feature Alberta landscape paintings of Dale Smith and seven local professional poets (Margaret Macpherson, Shirley Serviss, Kathy Fisher, ky perraun, Jannie Edwards. Dani Zyp and Ray Rasmussen) who have each written a poem inspired by one of the paintings in this art show. At the opening night on March 24, 2019 from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., six of the poets will perform their poems followed by a tribute song for Dale written and performed by Jack Bawden. Also enjoy music performed by guitarist, Kevin Smith, during the opening night.  Location: Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Art Gallery, 10037 84 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB. Doors open: 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
