Who We Are
Trinity Youth Project (TYP) is run by the Outreach Youth Coordinator of the Anglican Diocese of Edmonton, and supports youth ages 15-24 facing difficult circumstances in our community. We strive to come alongside youth who have been marginalized, and empower them to overcome barriers and live life to the full. We do this through building meaningful relationships, and addressing underlying issues.
TYP was started in 2016 with the support of Holy Trinity Anglican Church (HTAC) as an art program. It has since evolved to include a youth employment program, and a restorative justice program coming later in 2019. These programs are continuing to be run out of HTAC, and will expand across the Diocese as opportunity allows.
What We Do
We see healthy relationships as the cornerstone in supporting marginalized youth. Through our programming, we seek to engage youth, address their need for social inclusion, and address other ongoing needs they have. We do this through an art program, employment program, and are currently developing a restorative justice program that should be rolling out in later 2019.
