Church In The Nursery is a monthly event for parents and kids together, hosted in the Upper Hall of Holy Trinity Anglican Church 10037-84th Avenue.
The goal of Church In The Nursery is to provide a monthly whole-family context for Christian worship, discipleship, and fellowship in addition to Sunday morning offerings at Holy Trinity. Each event is centered around a piece of scripture or biblical story. The question is not how to teach the story, but, “how could young families experience this story together?” We gather, hear a story told in a kid-friendly way, explore the story through appropriate activities, pray, and sometime sing. An hour is all it takes in order to accommodate shorter attention spans. Parents go home with “Afterthoughts,” a sheet offering suggestions of carrying faith into the home. The planning team has a lot of fun wrestling, being creative, and learning each month, and we trust you will too. Come join us, newcomers are always welcome.
*All children must be accompanied, and parents are expected to join in the learning and the fun!
