Danielle is a cradle Anglican who has been actively participating in the Anglican Church of Canada since she was an infant. Whether it was attending Church as a young child on the East coast (Nova Scotia) where she originates from or seeking out Anglican churches whenever her father, who was in the Navy, got posted to a new and exciting place, her parents always ensured there was a great Church in which to attend weekly and engage in worship.
As an adult Danielle became more involved in helping with the programming in some Anglican churches in Edmonton and helped run and facilitate Messy Church, Youth Group, Kids’ Club, Caregiver’s Support Groups, and Vacation Bible Schools.
While completing her degree in Psychology, (with focus on Adolescent Psychology and Educational Psychology), Danielle served as a Parish Administrator in a local Edmonton church and then, with the Bishop’s blessing, began a theology program at Newman Theological College within Edmonton.
Danielle was ordained as a transitional deacon on January 25th, 2018 and began her new journey as Assistant Curate at Holy Trinity Anglican Church on May 1st, 2018 and is eager to watch Christ at work in this amazing area of Old Strathcona!
