Praying w/ Icons of Christ: an Advent Meditation

Come and be drawn into the presence of of the one who radiates the light and force of God as we spend an hour with an icon of Christ each Tuesday night in Advent from 7 to 8 PM.  Each evening we will hear a bit about icons in general and the icon for that evening in particular and then will spend about 30-45 minutes in silence as we meditate/ pray in front of candlelit icons.  Tuesday Nov. 29 – The Transfiguration, Dec. 6- The Resurrection, Dec. 13- Christ as one of the Eternal Trinity and Dec. 20- Christ as Pantokrator, judge of the world and ruler of all.  “Such an encounter cannot leave us unchanged”  – In the HTAC Chapel, Tuesdays 7-8 PM.
