Remembrance Day Service w/ South Alberta Light Horse
You are invited to join us on Monday November 11, 2013 @ 9:45 AM for a Remembrance Day Prayer Service at Holy Trinity Anglican Church with the soldiers of the South Alberta Light Horse (SALH) regiment, HLt. Col. Angus Watt, the Hon. Rachel Notley MLA Edmonton-Strathcona and the Hon. Linda Duncan, MP Edmonton-Strathcona. The service will begin at 9:45 AM with a procession into the church. At 10:30 the SALH will parade down Whyte Avenue to the cenotaph next to the old Connaught Armories, which is now the Youth Emergency Shelter Society in Old Strathcona. There we will continue with the our Remembrance Day events followed by a time of silence and the act of remembrance at 11:11 AM. Transportation will be available for those who wish from Holy Trinity to the cenotaph and back.
