I Think I Do
A Canadian motion picture, starring Toronto-born actress Mia Kirshner, was filming at Holy Trinity today, Jan 17, 2012. The streets around the parish were packed with large vans filled with equipment, wardrobes, generators, props and our parking lot was filled with rented trucks and cars as well as monstrous lights illuminating the stained glass windows and providing a bright background for the scenes. More than 50 actors, crew and extras (even a dog) streamed to Holy Trinity today to shoot some wedding scenes for the movies I Think I Do which is scheduled to air this August on the W Network in Canada and the Lifetime Movie Network in the US. The Rocky Mountain Pictures production is a coming-of-age romantic comedy based on the lives of three sisters who run a wedding planning company. The script, written by Jenny Cooper who also plays eldest sister Beth, explores the themes of “commitment, true love, family ties and lessons learned”.
