Releasing Physical and Emotional Pain; Finding God:
A Spiritual Journey of Hope, Forgiveness, Peace, Love, and Joy
This five week course uses the alternative health practice called EFT, Emotional Freedom Techniques. It provides a framework to help Christians truly heal past and present events that may be causing feelings of guilt, shame, pain, stress or discomfort.
Week 1: Hope
Learn how EFT can help you with many of the day to day challenges that we as Christians face. Learn the basic EFT receipe and practice within the group setting as we learn how we can heal our own pain and borrow the benefits of other’s targeted healing sessions.
Week 2: Forgiveness
Being unforgiving is like taking poison and expecting the other person to suffer. Using EFT, we learn to release our anger and find forgiveness for the trespasses of others. Perhaps most importantly, we learn why we must, and how we can forgive our own weaknesses and short-comings.
Week 3: Peace
Learn the Personal Peace Procedure and find out how clearing your own life of hurts and traumas can bring you to a closer relationship with God.
Week 4: Love
Christ taught us that we are to love our neighbour as ourselves. He did not tell us to love our neighbour instead of ourselves. Find our why you having a good relationship with you matters to God. Learn how to deal effectively with that nagging inner voice that’s always criticising you and putting you down.
Week 5: Joy
Leaving the stresses of the world behind us or at least recognizing their true insignificance can bring joy back to our lives.

Each of these two hour sessions can be beneficial individualls, but you will get the most from them if you come to them all. Everyone in attendance will be expected to participate fully and actively. Home practice is also encouraged.
Mildred Thill, EFT Cert I, has taught the topics of this course before, but from a secular point of view. She is looking forward to incorporating Christian faith within this five week, ten hour framework.
