As you know there is an election for the next Bishop of the Diocese of Edmonton on Saturday, June 26th. Information about the candidates can be found HERE. Your Synod Delegates have an important role in this election. They are to cast votes which are representative of you - the congregation of Holy Trinity - and where it is felt that the Holy Spirit is moving this Diocese.
Whereas in previous years we would all get together to discuss the candidates at coffee hour after a Sunday service, that isn’t currently possible, so your Synod Delegates have decided that some of us will join in on the current Sunday Coffee Zoom events (where we can talk as a group or alternatively talk privately in breakout rooms) and host “Candidate Coffee Chats in the Front Yard” during the next two weeks. Sunday, June 20th after our Sunday Service via Zoom (please contact the church office for Zoom link).
