FrAcTured by Victoria School of the Arts & Seacoast Studio in Venue 14
Fractured is a highly engaging exploration into the minds and souls of a group of youth who are working through the emotional trauma following a fictional school shooting. The play, although it is written in response to a fictional account, is not about the crime, but rather, the lasting emotional and psychological impact on those who experienced it first-hand. The intention of this kind of theatre is to raise questions and encourage dialogue; ultimately to raise the debate. The kids tell their stories from their own places of truth and in their own voices. As a result, there is a language and mature theme warning.
