Letters from the Apostle Paul to Holy Trinity
Remember that sermon a few weeks ago that asked “What would Paul write to us at Holy Trinity?”
Here are a few responses that people felt should be shared:
“Your hearts are open and good and generous. God is with you. You work well together and are welcoming and generous – But, I want you to do more. Take courage.”
“Care for children and the elderly. Honour the Holy within all human people. Become more involved in the world. Consider the lonely and poor. Tell of Jesus – not yourself or your building.”
We also asked, “What are some concrete things we can do to move closer to Paul’s vision?:”
Prayer: “Lifegiving and Almighty God, bless this your church of Holy Trinity. Guide our hearts Lord that we may draw in the lost and hurting. Keep us knowing that you are with us. Thank you for all your love and for helping us to do your will.”
“Visit and elderly friend. Host a supper for the homeless – in the ravine. Be careful and mindful of what you speak and how you act in public. In otherwords, HONOUR GOD MORE IN ACTION.”
These from the mouths of your fellow parishioners. I suspect there are more out there… Send them in as you will to curate@holytrinity.ab.ca
Be the church.
