New 5 PM Liturgy on 4th Sundays @ 5 PM
Beginning Sept. 22 we will hold a worship service modelled on the liturgical and spiritual traditions of Anglo-Catholicism on the 4th Sunday of each month at 5PM in the chancel. This liturgy has the same shape as our morning liturgies and utilizes more silence, stillness, bowing, incense and chant with the use of a shared ‘reflective homily’ where community members can respond to the homily offered. The worship will take place in the chancel where community members can see each other during the worship and feel intimately connected with the eucharist itself. As we move forward we will encourage greater involvement of the community, especially elements of our Arts Community in the creation of and participation in this liturgy. Following the service, the community is invited to gather at a local establishment for food and fellowship.
