On the Fringe of Heaven Day 7

The final day of our project has arrived.  It is finished.  But is it ever truly finished?  I think the creative process of God continues and we walk with God in the journey that is God’s mission.  Our image today is of a young woman, or perhaps an angel, flying a kite just beneath the hands of God which are cupping creation within them.  The streamers of the kite have words of scripture on them:  “what is the house that you would build for me and what is my resting place?  All these things my hand has made and so all these things are mine.”  A white Bird flies up towards the kite and a little brown dog tugs at the dress of hte girl.  This is heaven, the intersection of creation and God’s space.  Where creation and creator swirl together in an intimate dance.

Today also saw a variety of additions, many from children.  It seems that heaven is also music and rainbows and hearts and all sorts of interesting objects and images.
